We’re growing and getting big.  We’re also making some big hires, too.

This week, Heat is bringing on a few solid leaders to rally our troops for the incredible work we have coming our way.

Creative Director Elaine Cox

Creative Director and copywriter Elaine Cox joins Heat after stints at FCB and most recently Pereira & O’Dell where she worked on serious clients like Electronic Arts, Skype, Hyatt, and Levi's. She will join Jonathan “JB” Byrne working on new business for the agency. Things that we are pumped about when it comes to Elaine: her husband already works here (carpool city, population: The Coxes), she has incredible energy, and with six birth certificates she can probably get us through customs faster than lighting.

Head of Integrated Production Joyce Chen

Joyce joins Heat after rocking it at Venables Bell + Partners and her production creds include brands like Audi, Xbox, Reebok, and Google. We plan on having her run our entire production department like a well-oiled machine, and boy is she down for the cause. Before coming to San Francisco she spent some time in one of our favorite places, Boston and before that she lived in Hong Kong. Crazy, right? Aside from her advertising work, Joyce directed and produced a short documentary film entitled Refugee and has been practicing yoga for about six years. She’s going to fit right in.

Account Director, New Business Alexis Lovett 

A Midwesterner at heart (she says pop, not soda), Alexis comes to Heat after time at Eleven and Venables Bell + Partners. With experience working on brands like Oakley, Dignity Heath, Audi, and Massage Envy, Lovett will take on accounting and directing in our booming new business department. Outside of the work stuffs, she can probably school you on all things Cubs, Bears, and Bulls during our next pub crawl.
