Sara Daino is Head of Marketing at Heat, overseeing all global external and internal marketing and communications, including events, sponsorships, awards and owned channels across Heat’s four offices nationwide. Sara works with Heat’s clients and the agency’s 170 employees to share and amplify how Heat and Deloitte Digital, the pioneers of the creative digital consultancy model, build meaningful human connections through creativity. In this role, Sara helped launch Heat Chicago after contributing to the growth of the agency’s New York office, which saw headcount increase fivefold in less than a year.
A cornerstone of Sara’s career has been developing data-driven, emotionally resonant campaigns that highlight human and cultural truths and drive business results. Before assuming her current role, Sara was Global Business Director at Heat, during which time she led the rebrand of Red Door Salon & Spa. She also onboarded brands like Bomb Pop, Halo Top, Manulife, John Hancock and laid the strategic groundwork for cross-channel campaigns.
Before joining Heat, Sara grew in her career at BBDO New York, Translation and Havas, planning and launching integrated campaigns for some of the world’s most iconic brands, including Lowe’s, Jeep, DSW, ExxonMobil, State Farm, and most notably, the Chris and Cliff Paul NBA Born to Assist 360 campaign.
When she’s not at work, Sara enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with her two ragdoll cats Barney and Bo @ragdollsbarneyandbo
